NOW HERE IS WHAT PUSHED ME OVER THE EDGE…Its 9:30 PM. Funeral begins @10AM. Goodys opens at 10 AM & closes at 9PM. My husbands shirt still has the security tag on it! If I’m not mistaken – ALL OF GOODYS clothing has security tags.
SO FIRST THING IF YOU SHOP GOODYS – check your receipt BEFORE you leave the store to make sure you got your discounts! I don’t know about you, I’m not a fan of getting back in line, waiting for my turn again, and then waiting while they do all the paperwork associated with getting a refund. ☹ I prefer to watch as they ring me up the 1st time.

Awful place for wedding tuxes. These people don't know how to do fittings or sizings or basic tailoring.
Love this store!!! Great Prices and the Employees are wonderful! Never had an issue with anything!!! Customer for Life!!!

Since Goodys opened in Harrison – this is probably the 7 to 8th time someone in my household has had to go back to have a security tag removed.
3. Check to make sure security tags have been removed.
1. You need to watch to make sure your discounts are being applied.
HOWEVER when I pointed out to the cashier 2nite that she was getting ready to complete my transaction without the discounts - she says something along the lines of “don’t freak out”. To be honest – I forget what she said exactly because it made me so mad! I don’t speak to people rudely, so I don’t like to be spoken to rudely. I swear, I must have blacked out for a moment because I was so upset LOL I forget her exact words but it wasn’t nice. If I didn’t need his outfit so badly – I would have walked out.
THAT WAS A POST I LEFT ABOUT 6MONTHS AGO. AS YOU CAN SEE I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH GOODYS. IT IS NOW SEVERAL MONTHS LATER. I returned TO LEAVE A NEW REVIEW BECAUSE MY THOUGHTS ON GOODYS HAS CHANGED A GREAT DEAL …
2. I didn’t go in depth on this one but as I was being rung up and I asked the cashier if I could apply more than 1 online coupon, she said “I don’t know we will see WHEN WE RING IT UP”. Is it not your job to KNOW if more than 1 coupon is acceptable? I’m JUST SAYIN. So do YOUR homework on the coupons.
It is now Sept of 2017. I shop Goodys often. In the past 4 to 6 weeks, I’ve shopped there 5 times. 2 OF THE TIMES they did not apply my online coupons. I returned to the store to get a refund for the over-charge. WHICH it was a good thing I went back the same day. I was told by the cashier that if I had waited I would NOT have received the discount because the online coupons change often.
There have been a few other very negative instances. I don't know what has changed but it didn't use to be this way. I LOVED Goodys!
The store is lovely. Has many name brands and prices seem good. Only problem is not much stock.
I am pretty upset right now as this just happened. I may come back and delete this message. I don’t like to complain. You probably won’t believe that by the time you are finished reading this.
Goodies can be expensive but if you have a coupon you can get great prices & great products.I recently purchased a woman's sweat suit that was originally $90 because it was on clearance AND I had an online coupon from their app I got the entire sweatsuit for $12!
Right now – I don’t think I will go back. I may change my mind as they do have super great discounts and sales. They are the only more upscale-y type of clothing store around me. But sometimes its just worth that 20 minute drive into “town” to do your shopping. ☹ Sorry Goodys to give you a bad rating – as you can see in the beginning I didn’t feel this way. I hope things turn around. Sorry for the long post.
